Over the holiday one of my close friends broke up with her boyfriend. It was a difficult Christmas/New Years and a situation that needed to be impregnaneted (like that word usage?) by a heavy dose of girl time.
So what did we do??
We went out for dinner and drinks and then we gathered A TON of disgusting treats and watched Fatal Attraction and How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days. During the movies we did face masks with Arbonne's Detox Mask. Pretty solid girl sesh right?
She's feeling a lot better now and she seems to recognize that it wasn't a good long-term relationship for her, which is the goal these treats were supposed to reach, mission accomplished!
On a lighter note, I entered the Christmas Secret Santa that Melina from Only A Flight Away put together. She did a lot of work with it and it ended up being a lot of fun. When I got my present from my "Secret Santa" I was beyond excited! My Secret Santa was Erinn over at Fancy Napkin (an incredibly cute blog) and she was sweet enough to send me some really fun nail polish.
I love the names of them and they're super cute colors. I've been wearing "A French Quarter For Your Thoughts." Cute, huh??
So, that's what's going on in my world! Can't wait to read about yours :)

SUCH a sweet idea to do a secret Santa with bloggy friends! My friend Kym (Travel Babbles) and I exchanged gifts (her gift to me was everything I'd need to bake brownies, cookies, and cakes over here - since everything is so different). I was in HEAVEN!
ReplyDeleteAnd your girls night looks amazing. I cannot wait to go to a movie theater (no English movies here) and crush a box of Sour Patch Kids!
